GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USE OF PADS

Characteristics

Suitable for cryotherapy or thermotherapy

They keep the heat or cool for at least 45-60 minutes

Suitable for temperatures from -20˚ to 100°C

They remain flexible and anatomically adapt to the application area,

even after they are cooled They are heated in hot water or in a microwave oven

They are washed

Instructions for use of cryotherapy

Place the pad in the freezer for at least 10-20 minutes (depending on the size of the pad) before use

Instructions for use of thermotherapy

Dip the pad in warm water,

maximum temperature 80˚C, for 10-20 minutes (depending on the size of the pad)

Alternatively, microwave the pad at 800W for 25-60 seconds (depending on pad size and microwave), ensuring the gel is evenly distributed within the pad

Apply the patch after at least 1 minute

Precautions

Do not use pads without a doctor's order, especially in case of a post-surgical wound

The thermotherapy-cryotherapy protocol is chosen by the attending physician

The time of application and repetition of the treatment is determined by the attending physician

It is forbidden to use them without medical advice in diabetic patients, patients suffering from vascular and circulatory problems, lymphoedema, itching, numbness or burns

They are intended for external use only

Maximum treatment time 20 minutes

Clean the application area thoroughly before using the patch

Always use a piece of thin cloth between the skin and the pad

If the pad has straps, make sure the bandage is loose so as not to restrict blood circulation

Use by children must be supervised by an adult

If the pads puncture or their contents become solid and rigid, they are unusable and should be thrown away

The contents of the patches should not come into contact with the skin or eyes, in which case rinse with plenty of water.

If the irritation persists consult a doctor immediately
