The composite splint consists of lumbar and thigh application sections and multicenter hip joint.

Α. Lumbar section

Reinforced polymeric material, anatomically and symmetrically designed. Internal wool foam lining.

Strapping strap in the anterior part for a correct fit.

Β. Thigh section

Specially designed polymer material for a correct fit on the thigh. Inner soft foam lining, pre-ballasted.

Two straps on the anterior part for a correct fit.

Γ. Multicentre mechanism

Can be adjusted in two sections (bilateral) according to the side of the condition.

The range of flexion-extension movement is adjustable (with allen key) at 20° intervals and the range of abduction-adduction movement at 16° intervals.

The height and range of the splint is adjustable (by means of a screwdriver).

• Hip joint fracture
• Hip dislocation: hip joint fracture, non-surgical

• Total hip replacement
• Arthroplasty in semi-femoral hip arthroplasty
