LUMBAR SPLINT “LSO VISTA 637” 04-2-047

The 'LSO VISTA 637' lumbar guardian is designed primarily for post-operative use. Restricts the mobility of the trunkafter surgery on traumatic fractures of the lumbar spine.By limiting mobility , the pain felt by the patient is significantly reduced. 

It consists of two parts:

A strong lumbar band and a strong panel which are connected to each other with "Velcro" adhesives.

The lumbar belt is made with an internal ventilated lining.

The lateral medial sections fit in selectable positions according to the circumference of the waist of each patient and make it One size.

It also features an innovative two-string system for varying the compression on the lumbar spine.

The innovation is that the compression system can apply different pressure to the O3 vertebra area compared tothe region of the O5 vertebrae, depending on the discretion of the treating physician. 

The lumbar panel is lined with a skin-friendly hypoallergenic, antiperspirant and anti-bacterial foam.

It has a height adjustment system, depending on the body type of the patient.

Depending on the course of the patient's treatment, the lumbar panel can be removed and only the belt can be applied, according to the patient's needs, the recommendation of the treating physician.  

Indications

Conservative rehabilitation in:

• Fracture of vertebral body Th9-I1 (wedge-shaped - spacer - explosive)
• Aporectal fracture of the sacrum
• Osteoporotic fractures Θ9-Ι1

Postoperative rehabilitation in:

• Interbody spinal fusion Θ9-I1
• Spinal fusion with pedalectomy or discectomy Θ9-O5
• Multi-level pedalectomy and discectomy Θ9-I1
• Intervertebral disc arthroplasty Θ9-I1
