The "DIGIT VIRGO II" pump is fully automated.
The control is done electronically with a program to adjust the air exchange in the air chambers of the air layer and with a sensor for measuring the patient's weight. It has cycle time and pressure range indication.
It has an "alarm" with sound notification in case of air loss.
It has a choice of static/alternating mode, where during the static mode the surface of the air layer is stabilized in order to facilitate the change of the patient's position or his remaining in a sitting position, avoiding any slipping.
It also has an "auto firm" function in which the air supply to the air mattress is maximized and its surface is stabilized in order to take care of the patient, and it automatically returns to normal operation after 30 minutes.
